The photo above is of the water above the Great Barrier Reef in the Coral Sea. It is just shy of the drop-off beyond the Continental Shelf. Swimming in this open ocean is very difficult. I was surprised. I think grad school will dump me out here, metaphorically speaking. I can't wait.
